Job summary

Ace Electric, Inc. in Covington, GA is hiring a Material Handler to transport, load and unload materials, supplies, tools and equipment at job sites, reporting to the Logistics Manager.

The role requires a valid driver's license, forklift and crane signaling certifications within 30 days, and knowledge of electrical materials; HS-GED is required. OT may be required; safety gear is provided and expected.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Forklift certification within 30 days of hire date; crane signaling certification within 30 days of hire date.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of electrical materials, tools and equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process requests and supply orders; pull materials, tools and equipment.
• Complete deliveries promptly to designated areas as directed by site leadership.
• Maintain inventory sheets and communicate stocking levels to supervisors.
• Enforce inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
• Provide quality service by following organization standards.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; shelves, pallets and stations neat.
• Complete reports by entering required information and sending to leadership.
• Contribute to team effort by achieving related results as needed.
