Job summary

Ace Electric is seeking a Material Handler to transport materials, tools and equipment to job sites and assist project teams across multiple locations. This role emphasizes inventory control, documentation and safe handling of supplies.

Ideal candidates will hold a valid driver’s license, forklift certification within 30 days, and crane rigging/signaling certification within 30 days. A high school diploma or GED is required, with the ability to work extended hours when needed.

Qualifications

• Licenses: Valid state driver’s license.
• Forklift certification within 30 days of hire date.
• Crane rigging and signaling certification within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials, tools and equipment.
• Completes deliveries in a prompt manner to designated areas as determined by the Superintendent and Foreman.
• Maintains inventory sheets and communicates stocking levels to supervisors.
• Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
• Provides quality service by following organization standards.
• Preserves a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and workstations neat.
• Maintains clean material storage area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Completes reports by entering required information and sending to the Superintendent and Project Manager.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
