Job summary

Lincoln Industries is seeking a Material Handler to load and unload parts, and to move materials between the warehouse, dock, and production lines. The role requires operating a forklift and ensuring accurate tagging and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Verify tags on skid and movement documentation in system.
  • Transport parts from the warehouse to the dock and to the finished goods area.
  • Keep the dock and warehouse organized and clean.
  • Assist with interdepartmental transfers and proper paperwork.

The purpose of this job is to load and unload parts off trucks, place parts in the proper area of the shipping and receiving department and take parts to and from the production lines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Driving and operating forklifts.
  • Loading/unloading trucks.
  • Deliver parts from the warehouse to the dock.
  • Pick up completions from the lines and deliver to the finished goods warehouse.
  • Bring materials from the warehouse to the lines.
  • Verify tags on skid verses on system pick or movement.
  • Move and stack material for the lines.
  • Maintaining dock area in a neat and orderly manner/keep warehouse organized.
  • Transfer parts and orders interdepartmentally and insuring proper documentation.
  • Could potentially come in contact with hazardous chemicals.
  • Environmental responsibility is our commitment to our communities.
  • Proper disposal of waste such as recyclables, standard waste, hazardous waste, etc. is expected.
  • Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers.
