Description

Summary: Responsible for making sure that materials are supplied to where they are needed and to ensure the smooth flow of production.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.?
  • Use critical thinking, ensuring the continuous flow of production.
  • Ensure proper containers are provided for production for the appropriate job
  • Move and stage materials for production.
  • Follow daily schedules.
  • Operates lift trucks, forklifts, flux, overhead cranes, or hand trucks to convey, or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
  • Pick orders from stock or from staging area.
  • Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
  • Pick Material from inventory and deliver to necessary equipment.
  • Ensure material, part and quantity accuracy in all transactions.
  • Maintain assembly areas throughout the warehouse; ensure neat and orderly storage of material
  • Pull materials from storage and deliver to production as needed. Communicates and collaborates with the reporting supervisor and operators to ensure that production continues to flow smoothly.
  • Assist in the maintenance of inventory accuracy and assembly areas throughout the warehouse, ensuring neat and orderly storage, picking, and transferring of material.
  • Follow and comply with all company safety regulations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent, one to three years’ relevant experience, or equivalent combination of both.
