Job summary

Hearth & Home Technologies in Halifax, PA is seeking a Material Handler to prepare and ship fireplaces, stoves, and hearth products. The role uses forklifts, scanners, and shrink wrap equipment to accurately label and move goods for shipment to customers.

Pay ranges from $19.00 to $25.00 per hour, on a Monday-Thursday 6:00am–4:30pm schedule. Benefits include Day 1 eligibility, 401k with company match, health/dental/vision coverage, and paid time off. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 0–3 years of related experience.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification is required.
• Bronze level BPI certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and ship Hearth & Home Technologies' fireplaces, stoves and hearth products.
• Operate forklifts, scanners, and shrink wrap machines to label and move products for shipment.
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and help improve distribution efficiency.

**Job Responsibilities**
Our Material Handlers are responsible for preparing and shipping Hearth & Home Technologies' industry-leading fireplaces, stoves and hearth products. They use a variety of industrial material handling equipment, including forklifts, scanners, and shrink wrap machines, to safely and accurately label and move product for shipment to our customers.

**Skills and Abilities**

• Proficient in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions, decimals), reading and writing.
• 1 year of work experience
• Forklift driving experience preferred
• Current forklift or tugger certification or ability to obtain such is required
• Bronze level BPI certification

**Education & Experience**
High school diploma or GED and 0-3 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
