Job summary

The Prestwick Group in Sussex, WI is seeking a Material Handler to safely move and manage materials in our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include receiving, counting, storing, and tracking inventory using forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF-Smart barcode scanners within our ERP system.

Ideal candidates will have forklift and MEWP certification, strong attention to detail, ability to read measurements, and experience with inventory software.

Qualifications

• Forklift & MEWP Certification is required.
• Ability to operate drills and drivers.
• Clean Driving Record.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Communicates effectively with various departments.
• Ability to accurately count and tally products.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and Google applications.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, count, and verify inbound purchased inventory.
• Unload deliveries, accept shipments, and unpack containers.
• Inspect condition and quantity of items.
• Compare items to purchase orders and packing lists.
• Place received inventory into the appropriate bin promptly.
• Use forklifts, pickers, and pallet jacks to move inventory to storage locations.
• Assist Inventory team with stock counts, cycle counts, and audits.
• Log transactions in ERP system and RF-Smart barcode scanners.
