Job summary

Korry Electronics in Everett, WA is seeking a Stockroom/Material Handler IV to join our logistics team. This senior role coordinates material flow across production, warehouse and shipping, ensuring accurate inventory and timely delivery to meet production needs.

As a subject matter expert, you will perform advanced ERP/MRP transactions, support cycle counts, and train junior staff, all while upholding lean practices and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Material Handler Level IV

Material Handler Level IV is a senior-level logistics and materials specialist responsible for coordinating, moving, and controlling inventory across production, warehouse, and shipping areas. This role typically requires advanced knowledge of material flow, strong accuracy, and the ability to support complex or high‑priority operations.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily material handling activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, kitting, and delivering materials to production areas.
  • Perform advanced transactions in ERP or MRP systems (such as Syteline, Oracle, SAP) including reconciliations, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on inventory accuracy, material movement processes, and system transactions.
  • Coordinate with planning, purchasing, and production teams to ensure materials are available on time.
  • Provide guidance or informal training to lower-level material handlers.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and lean material flow practices.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts for warehouse layout, inventory management, and material delivery processes.
  • Verify acceptance criteria are met on all transactions to inventory.
  • Kit job orders and move to Operations.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts and reconciliation.
  • Perform root cause and corrective action on discrepant inventory values.
  • Creating Stock location on warehouse floor and VLM machines
  • Repackage material to appropriate pick sizes.
  • Process withdrawal/Kan Ban Cards.
  • Drive an electric tugger pulling trailers to move material on a timed delivery route through the value stream via various visual signals.
  • Transport pallets of inventory via Pallet Jack or Forklift
  • Perform audits as required such as Kan Ban Boards, shelf life, Fixed time Kan Ban.
  • Support other departments such as Receiving, RMA desk, and Shipping on an as needed basis.
  • Performs special projects/tasks as assigned
Preferred Education
  • High school Diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred Experience
  • At least three year working in an inventory or warehouse environment, performing material handling, stocking, or inventory control tasks.
Preferred Specialized Skills and Abilities
  • Aerospace materials handling — Prior experience working with aerospace components, hardware, and documentation requirements (traceability, lot control, cert management).
  • ERP/MRP systems — Hands‑on experience performing picks, puts, receipts, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments within systems such as Oracle, SAP, Syteline, or similar.
  • Kitting operations — Ability to accurately kit job orders, validate shortages, and follow BOM structures with high attention to detail.
  • Inventory control — Experience with cycle counting, reconciliation, root‑cause analysis of variances, and maintaining accurate stock levels.
  • Receiving inspection basics — Familiarity with counting, labeling, bag‑and‑tag processes, and verifying documentation against purchase orders.
  • Material movement & logistics — Experience staging materials, supporting production lines, and performing internal deliveries safely and efficiently.
  • Lean/5S practices — Exposure to continuous improvement, workplace organization, and waste‑reduction practices.
  • Equipment operation — Experience with pallet jacks, carts, VLMs, or other material‑handling equipment.
  • Documentation accuracy — Strong ability to follow written work instructions, maintain traceability, and complete transactions correctly the first time.
  • Cross‑functional communication — Comfortable coordinating with Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Planning to resolve material issues quickly.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent use of computers / Laptops, Vertical Lift Modules (VLM), carts, database and digital platforms, and other office productivity machinery, such as computer printers and label makers.
  • Frequently uses hands, fingers, and arms to reach, handle, touch or feel equipment, materials, and computer.
  • The person in this position needs to frequentlymove inside the stockroom.
  • Occasionally use of steps, or ladder.
  • The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Seldom to occasionally position self to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
Salary Range

Please note the typical hiring range is $31.26 – $36.78 hourly. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
