Job summary

Ontic is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to manage stockroom material movement and ensure accurate inventory control at our Chatsworth, CA site. You will work under the Warehouse Supervisor, performing receiving, cycle counting, and material movement with attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires a high school diploma, two years of stockroom experience, and proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of stockroom/inventory experience in manufacturing environment required.
• Willing to work overtime and occasional weekends.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, Word.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles.

Responsibilities

• Verify and receive materials into the stockroom, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures.
• Conduct daily cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Move materials within stockroom and plant using various equipment.
• Maintain efficient and accurate inventory processes and labeling for traceability.
• Enter inventory data into ERP system and update stock records.
