Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience as a Material Handler with inventory knowledge.
• Ability to operate forklifts and handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, load, unload, count, weigh, measure, code and store materials.
• Move material using hand trucks, pallet jacks, dolly, and forklifts.
• Open crates and boxes using basic tools.
• Wrap and secure material on pallets for distribution.
• Stock inventory on sales floor and storage areas.
• Report discrepancies in receipts to supervisor.
• Dispose of waste and operate compactor or baler as needed.
• Spot trucks and check inbound freight from vendors.
• Assist in inventory counts and stock rotation.
• Identify damaged shipments and report to supervisor.
• Maintain clean work areas and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
