Job summary

D&B Supply in Island City, Oregon is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to load and unload diverse products for storage and distribution, maintain inventory levels on the sales floor, and assist with restocking and merchandise presentation.

You will receive and sort freight, use hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts, open crates, wrap pallets, log discrepancies, and participate in inbound/outbound checks and periodic stock audits.

Qualifications

• Material handling experience; inventory control and record keeping preferred.
• Forklift certification is preferred but not required; safe operation is expected.

Responsibilities

• Receive, load and unload materials for storage and distribution.
• Move materials using hand trucks, pallet jacks, dollys, and forklifts as needed.
• Open crates and cartons; wrap and secure items on pallets for distribution.
• Stock shelves and assist on the sales floor to maximize inventory visibility.
• Document discrepancies in receiving and report to supervisor.
• Assist in periodic/perpetual stock inventory and rotate stock as needed.
• Inspect shipments for damage and report issues.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or management.
