Qualifications

• Experience with inventory systems and proper storage methods.
• High School Diploma or GED; forklift certification preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Receive, load, unload, count, weigh, measure, code and store materials on or from freight vehicles.
• Move material using hand tools and equipment including by-hand, hand truck, pallet jack, dolly, and forklifts.
• Open and unwrap crates, boxes, cartons using cutting tools and tape.
• Wrap, seal and secure material on pallets for distribution.
• Report discrepancies in receiving to designated supervisor/manager.
• Assist in periodic or perpetual inventory of stock and stock rotation.
