Job summary

Clark-Reliance is seeking a Material Handler to perform material storage, stocking and handling in a first shift (7am-3:30pm). The role emphasizes accurate documentation, inventory control, and safe operation of equipment in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has recent material handling experience in manufacturing, is computer literate, and can read blueprints and specifications. Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read simple blueprints and technical specs.
• Must be computer literate and able to use documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of materials and inventory.
• Visually inspect products for damage during handling and storage.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine preventative maintenance.
• Move, crate, pack, ship, receive, and pick materials as needed.
• Use equipment such as lift trucks, tow motors, cranes and other handling devices.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective clothing.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, suppliers and customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Attend shifts punctually and regularly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
