Job summary

Clark-Reliance in Strongsville, OH is seeking a Material Handler for the first shift (7am-3:30pm). You will support storing, stocking and handling of materials and assist with shipping, receiving and inventory preparation.

The ideal candidate has material handling experience in manufacturing, tow motor experience, ability to read blueprints, and is computer literate. Physical work includes lifting up to 100 pounds and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Tow motor experience is preferred.
• One year related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a material handling department preferred.
• Must be computer literate.
• Ability to read simple blueprints and technical specifications.
• Able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of materials and inventory.
• Visually inspect product to ensure it has not been damaged during handling, storage, packaging or shipping.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance as required to maintain equipment in top order.
• May track inventory to prepare other documentation on a computer.
• Handle material activities such as crating, packing, shipping, receiving, picking, lifting, moving.
• Utilize tools, hoists, dollies, and other devices when necessary.
• Comply with safety procedures and wear protective clothing where required.
• Interact with all levels of employees, suppliers, customers and peers effectively.
• Comply with company policies, standards and rules.
• Maintain quality assurance per ISO standards.
• Keep work area clean, orderly and safe.
• Punctual, regular and consistent attendance.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
