Job summary

Clark-Reliance LLC in Strongsville, OH is hiring a Material Handler on first shift (7am-3:30pm). The role focuses on storing, stocking and handling materials, with emphasis on accurate documentation and safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, is computer literate, and can read blueprints and specifications while following English instructions precisely. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• One year related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a material handling department preferred.
• Must be computer literate.
• Ability to read simple blueprints and technical specifications.
• Able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of materials and inventory.
• Visually inspect product for damage or deterioration during handling, storage, packaging or shipping.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to keep equipment in good order.
• May track inventory to prepare other documentation on a computer.
• Conduct material handling tasks such as crating, packing, shipping, receiving, picking, lifting and moving with equipment.
• Use small and large tools, hoists, dollies, and other devices as needed.
