Job summary

Gulfeagle Supply's Warwick branch is seeking a Warehouse Helper to safely load materials using forklifts and receive incoming shipments in Warwick, Rhode Island. Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Good physical stamina to lift up to 100 pounds and perform outdoor/indoor work in various conditions.
• Ability to follow instruction and maintain accuracy in paperwork and inventory.
• U.S. work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely load materials using forklifts and unload incoming shipments.
• Receive and verify quantities, descriptions, and paperwork for materials.
• Perform order picking and handle will-call orders.
• Assist in loading materials into customer vehicles.

Warehouse Helper

Job Summary

The Warehouse Helper is responsible for safely loading materials utilizing forklifts. Receive incoming materials from vendors, verify quantity for accuracy, description, amounts, and complete appropriate paperwork. Order picking, will call orders, assisting in loading customer’s vehicles with materials, reporting problems, deliveries, service issues, etc. Assist in taking inventory as needed.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions
• Ability to bend, reach, lift and climb
• Experience driving a forklift
• Must have the ability to lift up to 100 pounds of material continually
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S.
