Material Handler, Inventory Management (Finance)

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is a leading North American provider of midstream energy services, including gathering, treating, processing, transportation, and storage of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, and petrochemicals. Our extensive assets include pipelines, storage capacities, and marine transportation systems.

The Material Handler will manage warehouse inventory within the Enterprise Eastern Gulf Coast Operations. Key responsibilities include:

1. Authorizing and coordinating work with contracted shops for repairs and exchange of parts.
2. Managing warehousing operations: ordering, receiving, storing, and distributing equipment and materials.
3. Identifying surplus materials for reuse and supporting Asset Recovery programs.
4. Delivering parts and materials to minimize downtime.
5. Ensuring MRO processes comply with company policies.
6. Conducting audits of asset rebuild processes and participating in annual cycle counts.
7. Maintaining a clean, organized warehouse and operating forklifts as needed.
8. Updating Oracle warehouse data, reconciling inventories, and managing material transfers.
9. Analyzing part and facility consumption, coding expenses, and assisting with procurement scheduling.
10. Responding promptly to emergency parts needs and managing time effectively.
11. Reviewing invoices and maintaining knowledge of ledger accounts.
12. Position may require on-call, afterhours, and weekend work.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license with a good record.
• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Preferred experience in inventory management, purchasing, or expediting.
• Preferred industry experience in gas or petroleum sectors.
• Strong responsibility, flexibility, and multitasking abilities under stressful conditions.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proactive attitude, dependability, and teamwork orientation.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and independently.
• Good prioritization and problem-solving skills.
