American Equipment Holdings in the United States is seeking a skilled Material Handler to oversee movement, storage, and organization of materials for overhead crane production. You will operate forklifts and other equipment, load/unload, inspect incoming materials, and maintain accurate inventory.

This full-time role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and efficiency, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications in material handling or logistics are a plus.
• Proven experience in material handling, logistics, or warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts, cranes, hoists, and other material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, cranes, hoists, and other material handling equipment to move materials, components, and finished products within the facility.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, shipping containers, and storage areas.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and components against purchase orders and specifications.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Organize and label materials in designated storage areas for easy retrieval.
• Collaborate with production teams to provide materials and components in a timely manner.
• Monitor material usage patterns to anticipate production needs and prevent shortages.
