Job summary

HIAB USA is seeking an Inventory/Material Handler to maintain production and distribution by pulling orders from inventory and delivering materials. The role involves staging finished products and recording transactions in ERP/MES systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory control and warehouse processes.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis.
• Understanding of quality control principles and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains neat and organized inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
• Load and unload material onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or material handling equipment.
• Utilize handheld scanner to pull production materials and supplies according to picklists, record quantities and deliver to specified locations throughout the facility.
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
• Completes cycle counting, as directed by the inventory policy.
