Job summary

Tru Vue Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Material Handler to control tracking, storage and issuance of materials to production lines, while supporting other departments and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will maintain inventory accuracy, assist with receiving/shipping, manage FIFO, and participate in cycle counts. A valid forklift license and at least one year of forklift experience are required; familiarity with electronic inventory systems and Lean/Six Sigma knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Forklift license is required and must be in good standing.
• At least one year of forklift experience with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with electronic inventory management systems and devices.
• Experience with computer data entry is beneficial.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge is preferred.
• Able to learn, follow documented procedures, and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Control tracking, storage and issuance of materials to production lines and assist shipping/receiving.
• Ensure proper inventory of production materials and finished goods for scheduled orders.
• Monitor and maintain receiving/shipping areas; assist in shipments and receipts as needed.
• Package materials for shipment efficiently and maintain FIFO.
• Monitor and conduct routine cycle counts and other inventory tasks.
• Ensure quality and on-time delivery of products and adherence to company materials programs.
