POSITION SUMMARY

Under supervision, the Industrial Cleaner handles, disinfects, and cleans parts. Tasks include operating tools and light-to-medium equipment, following policies and procedures, and working independently or under supervision. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to standards.

Employees are expected to meet performance, safety, and quality objectives, and comply with all relevant policies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle, disinfect, and clean parts per SOPs.
• Report damaged items.
• Dispose of waste chemicals safely.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Wear protective gear, including hazmat suits and respirators.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors and work area daily.
• Maintain and inspect equipment; keep inventory of supplies.

Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, secure facility.
• Adhere to all safety and operational policies.

Perform additional tasks as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

• Ability to read and understand written instructions.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, and reach.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 6 months experience in a similar role.
• Prior respiratory training.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Standing, walking, lifting, reaching, squatting, and kneeling, with specific frequency levels.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Low to moderate noise, minimal exposure to chemicals and fumes.
