Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking a Material Handler III on the Stamping line for the Wooster, OH facility. Responsibilities include loading/unloading goods, preparing driver deliveries, and moving materials across the plant while maintaining accurate documentation.

The role requires English, basic IT skills, and ability to lift heavy objects. Shift premiums for 2nd and 3rd shifts are available; GC/benefits apply. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the US.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic computer knowledge and MS Office skills.
• Ability to regularly lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Execute loading and unloading of goods and manage the respective documentation.
• Prepare deliveries of products and tours for drivers.
• Deliver raw materials and goods to designated location in the plants.
• Deconsolidate, re-pack, store, retrieve and execute internal transports.
• Pick, pack and label different goods (raw material, components, semi-finished-products, finished products, trading goods).
• Track and overview products and transports in the IT system.
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure PPE usage at all times.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Execute loading and unloading of goods and manage the respective documentation
• Prepare deliveries of products and tours for drivers
• Deliver raw materials and goods to designated location in the plants
• Deconsolidate, re-pack, store, retrieve and execute internal transports
• Pick, pack and label different goods e.g. raw material, components, semi-finished-products, finished products, trading goods etc.

• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Your Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Basic computer knowledge and MS office skills
• Ability to regularly lift heavy objects if required
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship

Preferred:

• Multiple years of experience in logistics, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with IT & SAP systems
• Ability to operate transportation machinery
• 2nd and 3rd shift premium available
