Job summary

Schaeffler Group USA Inc. is seeking a Material Handler for 1st shift in Fort Mill, SC. You will load/unload goods, prepare driver deliveries, and move materials within plants while following safety rules.

The role requires basic computing, MS Office skills, and the ability to lift heavy objects. Preferred SAP experience and 2+ years in logistics are a plus; benefits include medical, dental, vision and a 401k match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic computer knowledge and MS Office skills.
• Good visual acuity.
• Ability to regularly lift heavy objects if required.

Responsibilities

• Execute loading and unloading of goods and manage the respective documentation.
• Prepare deliveries of products and tours for drivers.
• Deliver raw materials and goods to designated location in the plants.
• Deconsolidate, re-pack, store, retrieve and execute internal transports.
• Pick, pack and label different goods e.g. raw material, components, semi-finished-products, finished products, trading goods etc.
• Track and overview products and transports in the IT system.
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of PPE at all times.

Your Key Responsibilities

Your Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Basic computer knowledge and MS office skills
• Good visual acuity
• Ability to regularly lift heavy objects if required
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship

Preferred:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in logistics, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with IT & SAP systems
• Ability to operate transportation machinery
