Job summary

Dal-Tile, the largest tile and natural stone manufacturer in the United States, is seeking a warehouse associate to operate forklifts and manage order flow through receiving, putaway, and packing.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, using the WMS, verifying stock, labeling, and ensuring accuracy. Candidates should have a high school diploma, 1+ year warehouse experience, and Dal-Tile forklift certification. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in distribution/warehouse experience.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of sit-down forklift, reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good record keeping and listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks to pick and assemble customer orders from stock and palletize on pallets.
• Enter orders into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and verify stock availability.
• Audit orders for accuracy and convey picked orders to packing/shipping areas.

Primary Objective:

Operates various powered industrial trucks to load and unload finished product in the shipping and receiving process.

Shift:

• 3rd: M-F, 7:00pm-3:30am

Equipment Knowledge:

• Sit-Down Forklift
• Stand-Up/Reach Forklift
• Order Picker/Cherry Picker Forklift

Responsibilities:

Picking

• Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
• Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy
• Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas

Receiving

• Operates various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking
• Opens crates and inspects product
• Applies labels to product according to establishing procedures
• Verifies shading of product and places into accurate warehouse location

Putaway

• Utilizespowered industrialequipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received
• Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves
• Ensures product is placed into accurate location

SPC Check/Pack Checking

• Wraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shipping
• Labels boxes with packing slip
• Loads boxes into conveyor belt
• Verifies orders for accuracy

General

• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures
• Keeps area safe, clean, and organized
• Performs other related duties as required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.
• Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-downforklift. Reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
