Job summary

Dal-Tile LLC in Sunnyvale, TX, seeks a Warehouse Forklift Operator to load, unload, pick, receive, and put away product. You will operate sit-down/reach forklifts, enter orders in the WMS, verify stock, and maintain accurate locations.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year warehouse experience, forklift certification, and English proficiency. Competitive benefits and a night shift (3rd) are available.

Qualifications

• 1+ years distribution/warehouse experience.
• Six months to 1 year forklift experience (sit-down, reach/OP).
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good record keeping and listening skills.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks to assemble customer orders and palletize.
• Enter orders into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verify stock availability and audit orders for accuracy.
• Convey picked orders to packing or shipping areas.
• Receive product and prepare for stocking; inspect crates.
• Label products and place into accurate warehouse locations.
• Move product into designated areas during putaway and inventory checks.
• Wrap and pack products; label boxes and verify orders.

Primary Objective

Operates various powered industrial trucks to load and unload finished product in the shipping and receiving process.

Shift

• 3rd: M-F, 7:00pm-3:30am

Equipment Knowledge

• Sit-Down Forklift
• Stand-Up/Reach Forklift
• Order Picker/Cherry Picker Forklift

Responsibilities

Picking

• Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
• Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy
• Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas

Receiving

• Operates various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking
• Opens crates and inspects product
• Applies labels to product according to establishing procedures
• Verifies shading of product and places into accurate warehouse location

Putaway

• Utilizespowered industrialequipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received
• Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves
• Ensures product is placed into accurate location

SPC Check/Pack Checking

• Wraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shipping
• Labels boxes with packing slip
• Loads boxes into conveyor belt
• Verifies orders for accuracy

General

• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures
• Keeps area safe, clean, and organized
• Performs other related duties as required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.
• Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-downforklift. Reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
