Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is hiring a Material Handler I - Unloader 2nd shift in Sunnyvale, TX. You will operate sit-down forklifts and other powered equipment to unload and prepare finished products for shipping.

This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork within a large manufacturing environment. The position works Monday–Friday on the 2:30pm–11:00pm shift, offering competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years previous distribution/warehouse experience.
• Six months to 1 year sit-down forklift, reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills; ability to understand and speak English.
• Dal-Tile certification to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
• Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy.
• Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas.
• Operates to receive product, inspect, label, and place into correct locations.
• Wraps and packs products, labels boxes, and loads onto conveyor for shipping.

Primary Objective:

Operates various powered industrial trucks to load and unload finished product in the shipping and receiving process.

Shift:

• 2nd: M-F, 2:30pm-11:00pm

Equipment Knowledge:

• Sit-Down Forklift
• Order Picker/Cherry Picker Forklift

Responsibilities:

Picking

• Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
• Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy
• Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas

Receiving

• Operates various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking
• Opens crates and inspects product
• Applies labels to product according to establishing procedures
• Verifies shading of product and places into accurate warehouse location

Putaway

• Utilizespowered industrialequipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received
• Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves
• Ensures product is placed into accurate location

SPC Check/Pack Checking

• Wraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shipping
• Labels boxes with packing slip
• Loads boxes into conveyor belt
• Verifies orders for accuracy

General

• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures
• Keeps area safe, clean, and organized
• Performs other related duties as required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.
• Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-downforklift. Reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
