Job summary

Schaeffler Battery Technology, LLC in Wooster, OH is seeking a material handling associate to load/unload goods, prepare deliveries for drivers, and ensure accurate documentation. You will move materials, track items in the IT system, and comply with safety rules while operating PPE.

Prior experience in material handling is preferred and US work authorization is required. The role offers benefits including health and life insurance and a 401(k) with company match.

• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of PPE at all times.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Execute loading and unloading of goods and manage the respective documentation.

Your Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Basic computer knowledge and MS office skills
• Good visual acuity
• Ability to regularly lift heavy objects if required
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
• At least one year of material handling experience

Preferred:

• Multiple years of experience in logistics, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with IT & SAP systems
• Ability to operate transportation machinery
