Job summary

Schaeffler is hiring for a logistics/warehouse associate in Wooster, OH. The role involves loading/unloading, delivering materials, packing, labeling, and managing internal transports. You will track goods in the IT system and ensure safety compliance.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to read and follow English instructions. Authorized work in the US is required; prior SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic computer knowledge and MS Office skills.
• Good visual acuity.
• Ability to regularly lift heavy objects if required.

• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper PPE use.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Execute loading and unloading of goods and manage the respective documentation

• Deconsolidate, re-pack, store, retrieve and execute internal transports
• Pick, pack and label different goods e.g. raw material, components, semi-finished-products, finished products, trading goods etc.

• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Your Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Basic computer knowledge and MS office skills
• Good visual acuity
• Ability to regularly lift heavy objects if required
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship

Preferred:

• Multiple years of experience in logistics, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with IT & SAP systems
• Ability to operate transportation machinery
