Job summary

Emerson’s Olive Branch, MS distribution center is seeking a Material Handler III (Powered Equipment Operator Reach Truck). You will move products with powered equipment, stock incoming items, replenish racks, and pick orders using reach trucks and RF devices.

The role requires 6 months reach lift experience, prior warehouse exposure, and the ability to operate a forklift safely. A High School diploma or GED is required, with legal work status in the United States.

Are you a skilled (Powered Equipment Operator) looking to grow your career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? Emerson has an exciting opportunity for a Material Handler III at our Olive Branch, MS distribution center!

As a MATERIAL HANDLER III (Powered Equipment Operator Reach Truck), this role will safely and efficiently handle materials throughout the warehouse — stocking incoming items, performing replenishments, and picking orders using powered equipment such as reach trucks and pallet jacks. You’ll play a key part in maintaining productivity and ensuring our operations run smoothly.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Responsible for moving product within the warehouse by means of motorized equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, order selectors or reach lifts.
  • Responsible to stock incoming items, to replenish flow racks, and pick orders with use of RF equipment
  • Create cartons and labels prior to shipping
  • Maintain productivity minimum standards with a sense of urgency.
  • Adhere to all safety rules, policies and procedures
  • Replenishorders as necessary to support operation.
  • Supplycardboard boxes and bags for departments.
  • Maintain safe actions on and off the equipment in compliance with all safety rules/regulationsrequired by Emerson, federal, state and local provisions.
  • Meet department quality, attendance and productivity requirements.
  • Perform necessary housekeeping duties to maintain clean work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

For this Role, You Will Need:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Requires prior reach lift experience with 6 months previous warehouse experience.
  • Previous shipping/receiving/material handling experience.
  • Ability to operate forklift in a safe manner.
  • Physical requirements:
  • Able to lift parts weighing more than (50) fifty pounds (assistance when needed) and to work in bending, squatting, and standing positions for prolonged periods of time.
  • Occasionally reaching,pushing, pulling, grasping, banding, stretching, bending, and standing frequently.
  • Must be able to work quickly meeting productivity and quality standards.
  • Promote an environment where individual contribution (s) toward quality and cost improvements are maximized.
  • Must pass forklift certifications and requirements to operate forklifts.
  • Must pass a non-DOT physical exam
  • Legal authorized to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided.
  • Ability to work overtime when necessary.
