Job summary

Imperial Supplies, a Grainger Company, is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler III at our Janesville, WI Distribution Center to join a fast-paced team that keeps operations running smoothly.

You will package inbound material, perform kit assembly, and use labeling systems and scanners to track activity. The role requires standing/walking in a warehouse, lifting up to 50 lbs, and collaboration with Quality Control to ensure quality picks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year of general knowledge of distribution/manufacturing operations.
• Average math skills and effective reading & writing skills.
• Problem solving ability and attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to stand and walk in a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Package inbound material and assemble kits using labeling systems, printers, and shrink wrapping equipment; document packaging activity with RF scanners and data entry.
• Pick orders using powered industrial equipment and assist with inventory cycle counts.
• Coordinate with Quality Control to ensure only authorized, quality goods are packed into stock.

Now Hiring for a Warehouse Material Handler III at our Janesville, WI Distribution Center

This is a full – time position of 40 hours working Monday through Friday (10:30 AM – 7:00 PM) No Weekends or Holidays!! Paid Time Off includes 18 days available during your first year. Imperial offers Day 1 benefits includingmedical, dental, vision. Six paid holidays and the company contributes 6% to a 401K with immediate vesting.

In this full time Material Handler III role, you will package inbound material including assortment kit assembly using package labeling system and printers, automated packaging equipment, scales, tape guns, mechanical stapler, and shrink wrapping, document packaging activity using radio frequency scanners and keyboard data entry, pick orders using powered industrial equipment, conduct cart put away and restock picking. The position includes assisting with inventory cycle countson powered industrial equipment and partnering with Quality Control personnel to ensure only authorized, quality goods are packed into stock.

Your background should include: a High School diploma/GED equivalent and one year of general knowledge of distribution/ manufacturing operations. Average math skills and effective reading & writing skills. Problem solving ability and attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to spend most of the time standing and walking in a warehouse environment. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
