Job summary

Palmetto Goodwill is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support unloading, loading, and material handling in our distribution operations. You will sort merchandise, operate a baler, and help maintain safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, keeping accurate records of recycling output, and earning Power Industrial Truck certification as required, while upholding Palmetto Goodwill's I-CARE values and commitment to exceptional

Qualifications

Must have dependable transportation and be able to obtain Power Industrial Truck certification.
Experience sorting and packing material for safe storage or transport.
Able to operate forklift and walk-behind stacker with safety standards.

Responsibilities

Assists unloading or loading trucks.
Sorts merchandise into containers for storage, processing, distribution, and recycling.
Operates baler machine to prepare material for distribution.
Maintains accurate record keeping of recycling output.
Maintains a clean and safe working area.
Visually inspects equipment prior to operating to ensure safety.
Follows safety checklists and participates in equipment safety inspections.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
