Job summary

Rocket Lab, based at our Long Beach, CA headquarters, is seeking a Material Handler II to manage inbound/outbound goods, inventory, and production kits for Electron. You will maintain FIFO, execute cycle counts, and ensure stock accuracy to support aerospace manufacturing.

The role requires 1+ year experience and proficiency with MS Office; knowledge of MRP/ERP systems is a plus. Base salary is hourly in CA with strong benefits and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 1+ years of experience.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive inwards goods on a FIFO basis and ensure SOPs for processing of inwards goods are adhered to.
• Ensure accurate and on time delivery of components and production kits in accordance with production and transfer order plans/priorities.
• Ensure supply of Kanban materials to shop floor is sustained.
• Handle raw material movements and replenishment.
• Participate in a daily cycle counting program.
• Maintain stock point accuracy and ensure LN reflects actual stock movements.
