Inventory Coordinator II – Long Beach, CA
Based onsite at Rocket Lab’s global headquarters in Long Beach, CA, the Inventory Coordinator is tasked with all aspects of inventory management from receiving, putting into inventory, counting, and kitting, inwards and outwards goods. The role requires maintaining inventory accuracy and customer satisfaction by ensuring just‑in‑time fulfillment.
What You’ll Do
- Receive in‑wards goods on FIFO basis and ensure adherence to SOPs
- Ensure accurate and on‑time delivery of components and production kits per production & transfer order plans
- Maintain supply of Kanban materials to the shop floor
- Manage raw material movements and replenishment
- Participate in daily cycle counting program
- Observe FIFO stock rotation and maintain stock point accuracy
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records
- Perform additional duties as reasonably required
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
- High school diploma and 1+ years of experience
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or heavy manufacturing
- Experience with serial and lot controlled material tracking
- ERP systems experience
- Prior experience in a high‑paced, rapid growth environment
- Team oriented, strong ability to multi‑task and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and efficient prioritization

- Close, distance, peripheral, and depth vision; focus ability
- Ability to sit, use hands and fingers, operate computer keyboard and controls, and communicate verbally and in writing
- Physically able to commute to buildings
- Occasional exposure to dust, fumes, and moderate noise levels
Base Pay Range (CA Only)
$21 – $27 USD
