Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Senior Inventory Coordinator I to be based onsite at our Long Beach, CA headquarters. You will manage inbound goods, maintain inventory accuracy, and support just-in-time fulfillment for Electron and Neutron programs.

The role requires adherence to SOPs, FIFO handling, and close coordination with production and logistics teams. The position emphasizes cycle counting, material replenishment, and maintaining reliable stock data while contributing to a fast-paced, aerospace

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2+ years of experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive inwards goods on a FIFO basis and ensure SOPs for processing of inwards goods are adhered to.
• Ensure accurate and on time delivery of components and production kits in accordance with production and transfer order plans/priorities.
• Ensure supply of Kanban materials to shop floor is sustained.
• Perform raw material movements and replenishment tasks.
• Maintain stock point accuracy and ensure stock movements are reflected in LN.
• Participate in a daily cycle counting program.
• Ensure FIFO is managed to achieve proper stock rotation.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in stock records.
• Assist with stock point accuracy and data integrity.
• Additional duties as reasonably required.
