Job summary

Dal-Tile LLC in Sunnyvale, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to operate sit-down and reach forklifts, pick customer orders, and palletize products for shipping.

Responsibilities include entering orders into the Warehouse Management System (WMS), verifying stock, putting away received goods, and keeping the work area safe and organized. The 2nd shift runs Monday–Friday from 2:30pm to 11:00pm with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years distribution/warehouse experience; minimum six months to 1 year sit-down forklift, reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks to assemble orders and palletize.
• Enter orders into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verify stock availability and order accuracy.
• Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas.
• Receive product and inspect crates; apply labels and place into locations.
• Move product into designated warehouse locations and ensure accurate storage.

Primary Objective

Operates various powered industrial trucks to transport product from receiving department to stock shelves.

Shift

• 2nd: M-F, 2:30pm-11:00pm

Equipment Knowledge

Sit-Down Forklift
Stand-Up/Reach Forklift
Order Picker/Cherry Picker Forklift

Responsibilities

• Picking

• Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
• Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy
• Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas

Receiving

• Operates various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking
• Opens crates and inspects product
• Applies labels to product according to establishing procedures
• Verifies shading of product and places into accurate warehouse location

Putaway

• Utilizes powered industrial equipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received
• Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves
• Ensures product is placed into accurate location

SPC Check/Pack Checking

• Wraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shipping
• Labels boxes with packing slip
• Loads boxes into conveyor belt
• Verifies orders for accuracy

General

• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures
• Keeps area safe, clean, and organized

Qualifications

• Performs other related duties as required
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience. Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-downforklift. Reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to understand and speak English.
• Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.
• Must be Dal‑Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
