Food for thought: Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Material Handler II on 1st shift in Greenwood, SC. The role emphasizes moving materials safely with forklifts, coordinating via radio, and maintaining accurate inventory in the MRP system.

You will operate PIT equipment, participate in cycle counts, and support various warehouse tasks while following all safety policies. Hours are 7:30 am–3:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with potential incentive eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience in an industrial environment.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience operating a PIT (Powered Industrial Truck).

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve goods, supplies, and materials.
• Ensure forklift operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on forklifts for optimal condition.
• Use radio or other communications to coordinate with team members and prioritize tasks.
• Verify deliveries and inspect materials for damage.
• Perform inventory transactions in the MRP system accurately.
• Conduct cycle counts as required.
• Safely transport materials within the facility; load/unload from trucks, pallets, shelves.
• Dispose of scrap materials (non-metals) per procedures.
• Adhere to safety policies and WSRA requirements.
• Flex to other areas as needed or perform tasks of other positions.
