Job summary

Dal‑Tile, a Mohawk Industries company, seeks an intermediate Material Handler for 1st shift. The role involves stocking, checking, wrapping and loading/unloading materials across the tile distribution center.

Work hours are 6am–2:30pm, with overtime and Saturdays possible. Candidates should hold a high school diploma, a certified sit-down forklift operator certificate, and 1+ years in distribution/warehouse environments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2) Certified Sit‑Down Forklift Operator.
• 3) 1+ years of distribution/warehouse experience.
• 4) Minimum 6 months of stand‑up forklift or order picker experience.
• 5) Good oral and written communication skills, record‑keeping, and listening skills.
• 6) Accurate measurement capability.
• 7) Basic English speaking and reading ability.
• 8) Dal‑Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Pull/assemble customer orders.
• Check outbound orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor products.
• Maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.) and move, store, and replenish material.
• Conduct daily cycle counts.
• Receive and unload inbound material.
• Process inbound shipments.
• Process customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility (sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance).
• Adhere to safety rules and report accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to management.
• Perform other related duties as required.
