Job summary

TAPCO in Brown Deer, WI is seeking a Material Handler to receive, store, pack and ship products while maintaining strong safety practices. You will operate forklifts, use a WMS, and move goods across a dynamic distribution center.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and interpret English instructions.
• Operate forklift and other powered equipment.
• Able to present information to groups of employees, suppliers, and customers.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to solve practical problems and handle various variables.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate needed warehouse equipment as assigned.
• Verify items against bills of lading and orders.
• Use WMS to process orders and data.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE.
• Retrieve and stock items in proper locations.
• Assemble containers and affix shipping labels.
• Inspect shipments and address damages or shortages.
• Load/unload trucks and ensure shipment accuracy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
