Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts distribution center seeks an experienced warehouse operator to handle inbound/outbound flows, returns, and acquisitions with a focus on inventory accuracy and safety. You will use RF scanners, WMS, and voice-picking tools to move merchandise efficiently.

You will ensure accurate matching of item numbers and documents, assist in training teammates, and support peak-volume operations while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately match numerical and alphabetical information.
• Follows established operational, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain safe work environment and lift/move merchandise.
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems, RF tech, and processes.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction.
• Ability to support training and development when assigned.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise accurately.
• Match item numbers, quantities, and shipping docs with merchandise.
• Process inbound/outbound shipments, returns, vendor returns per policy.
• Operate RF scanners, WMS, and other warehouse tech.
• Store/retrieve merchandise from floor locations and racks.
• Load/unload trailers and route trucks securely.
• Maintain inventory accuracy via scanning, labeling, auditing.
• Rebox/relabel/sort merchandise for shipment or inventory placement.
• Follow hazardous material handling and safety standards.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and report unsafe conditions.
• Serve as trainer in assigned areas and operate PIE when certified.
• Support workflow balancing during peak volumes.
