Beckett Thermal Solutions is seeking a materials handler to move, store, and track inventory on the production floor. You will operate a forklift, ensure accurate labeling, and maintain organized storage areas to minimize downtime and maximize space utilization.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to procedures, and timely material delivery to production lines, with responsibilities for reporting hazards and keeping inventory records up to date.

Responsibilities

• Safely move materials to production areas on time to avoid downtime.
• Safely operate forklift trucks and report accidents and unsafe areas immediately.
• Follow procedures and practices for daily forklift checks and report safety failures promptly.
• Check containers labeled with correct part numbers and quantities.
• Maintain and consolidate racks and inventory to maximize space.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in assigned areas and report inaccuracies to inventory.
• Pull oldest products and partial containers first to rotate inventory.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping in production and storage areas.
• Find ways to maximize space constraints on production floor and storage areas.
• Find ways to deliver materials to production floor work areas with less effort.
• Become proficient at electronic transactions of inventory movement.

• Find ways to maximize space constraints on production floor and storage areas.
• Find ways to deliver materials to production floor work areas with less effort.
• Become proficient at the electronic transactions of inventory movement.
