Job summary

Snelling is seeking a Material Handler I in Alabama to support the manufacturing line by supplying raw materials and moving unfinished goods through the production process using a forklift.

You will follow safety policies, operate stand-up and LP forklifts, manage inventory in stockroom, participate in physical inventories, and assist with material movement to ensure smooth production flow.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies and procedures to include proper use of required PPE.
• Operate a stand up and LP forklift safely.
• Supply raw materials where needed in the production process.
• Maintain kit carts where applicable.
• Facilitate movement of product through the production process.
• Adhere to receiving procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of parts and home locations.
• Manage and consolidate inventory in stockroom and other areas as directed.
• Participate in physical inventory activities.

Job description

Primary Objective of Position:The Material Handler I will supply lines with raw materials and move unfinished good through the manufacturing process utilizing a forklift.
