Job summary

CJ Schwan's is hiring a full-time Materials Handler in Ohio. You will move materials through the facility using carts, pallet jacks, and conveyors, stack pallets, and dispose of scrap in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting.

We require 2+ years of related experience, and the ability to work in freezers with subzero temperatures for extended periods. Growth opportunities are available with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Must be able to work in freezers with subzero temperatures for 4-8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Moving materials and supplies through the facility using equipment such as carts and pallet jacks.
• Stacking skids or pallets in designated areas and disposing of scrap.
• Placing items in proper containers and conducting intermediate material audits.

Job description

Starting Pay: $18.75 per hour
Additional $1.50 shift differential from 2:30 p.m. -- 4:00 a.m.
Shift: 1ST
Hours: 3:30AM - 2:30PM

Mon-Fri (10 Hour Days) Some Mandatory Saturdays and/or 12-hour shifts

What You Will Do:

• Moving materials and supplies through the facility which may require the use of material handling equipment such as carts, conveyer belts, and pallet jacks.
• Stacking skids or pallets in designated areas, cleaning and disposing of scrap bracing cardboard and strapping.
• Placing items in proper containers or designated areas and conducting intermediate material audits.

What You Will Bring:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Must be able to work in freezers with subzero temperatures for 4-8 hours per day and stand up to hours per day.
