Job Title: Material Handler II

Join us at MW Components as a Material Handler II. This full-time, mid-senior level role involves managing all aspects of factory materials, including receiving, verifying, and allocating materials to operators based on schedules and requests.

Responsibilities

• Unload materials from trucks (bar stock, equipment, tools, etc.)
• Receive and store raw materials
• Issue and transport bar stock to the shop floor
• Assist with inventory counts
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on forklifts
• Create purchase orders using computer software for outside plating services
• Use forklifts to move materials, supplies, and scrap bins as needed
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of warehouse and materials receiving experience, specifically with metals
• Forklift and pallet jack operation experience and certification
• Ability to work independently

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 40 pounds; capable of walking and standing for extended periods.

Work Environment

Work involves proximity to moving mechanical parts and exposure to airborne particles and chemicals; noise levels vary from low to high.
