Atlas Staffing, Inc. is hiring a Material Handler II for a manufacturing site in Liberty Lake, WA. The temporary role lasts about 16–18 weeks with a potential, but not guaranteed, conversion to full-time.

You will support receiving, storing, picking, packaging, shipping, and moving materials, ensuring inventory accuracy and smooth production flow. The position runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with a hands-on warehouse focus, using forklifts and RF scanning.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and basic math abilities are required.
• High school diploma or GED is a plus.
• Prior warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• RF scanner and ERP system familiarity is beneficial.
• Comfortable using computers, email, and the internet.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Pick materials for sales orders and production needs.

Job description

Atlas Staffing is hiring a Material Handler II for a manufacturing company in Liberty Lake, WA. This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 16 to 18 weeks, with the possibility of becoming a temp to hire opportunity for the right employee, though conversion is not guaranteed.

Role Purpose

Support warehouse and production operations by receiving, storing, picking, packaging, shipping, and moving materials, parts, supplies, and finished goods. This role also supports inventory accuracy and helps keep materials organized and available for production and customer orders.

Responsibilities

• Pick materials for sales orders and production jobs
• Complete inventory transactions accurately
• Verify materials are properly labeled and marked
• Support inventory control and stocking processes
• Put away finished goods and raw materials
• Identify opportunities to consolidate materials and maximize warehouse space
• Move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• Follow proper material handling techniques, quality standards, and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adapt to changing production demands and schedules

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
• High school diploma or GED is a plus
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred, but not required
• RF scanner experience is a plus
• ERP system experience is helpful
• Comfortable using computers, email, and internet
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Ability to regularly sit or stand and use hands to handle smaller components
• Ability to frequently reach and occasionally reach above the shoulders or below the knees
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working in an open manufacturing environment around moving equipment, occasional fumes or airborne particles, industrial chemicals, vibration, radiant heat, and varying noise levels

Pay

$19.50-19.50 per hour

Available Shifts

Monday through Friday

8:00am to 4:30pm

Temporary assignment expected to last approximately 16 to 18 weeks

Temp to hire may be possible for the right employee, but is not guaranteed
