JOB SUMMARY:

The Material Handler supports internal and external customers by accurately receiving, stocking, delivering, and shipping materials. This role involves operating all material support equipment and performing related functions (e.g., receiving, running lines, shipping) at the assigned Operations facility.

Pay Range: $19.50 - $26.52

YOUR IMPACT:

Additional duties may be assigned; duties listed are not exhaustive.

  1. Locate and pull materials/supplies as per production/sales orders; stock production areas to maintain inventory; verify parts and quantities; complete BOLs for receiving/shipping.
  2. Operate all material handling equipment (e.g., Stand-up, Sit-down, Combi, Lancer, Tugger) at the facility.
  3. Maintain a safe, clean work environment following safety procedures, rules, and 6S standards.
  4. Ensure safety and cleanliness in assembly and testing of all models.
  5. Conduct receiving operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One (1) year of relevant experience or equivalent.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to become forklift certified for safe operation of forklift/tugger.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing environments and processes.
  • Excellent transaction discipline, especially with quantity accuracy and changes within JDE (Dodge Center only).
  • Experience with inventory discrepancies, KANBAN, ERP systems, and JDE (Dodge Center only).
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Two (2) or more years of relevant experience.

  • Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, and interpret instructions, manuals, and regulations.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Physical Demands: Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, hearing, talking, visual tasks; occasional climbing, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs., pushing/pulling 25 lbs.
  • Non-Physical Demands: Occasional analysis, communication, math, reading, mental activity, writing.
  • Environmental Demands: Occasional work alone, task changes, working in dust, temperature extremes, loud noises.
  • Work Schedule: Routine hours, occasional overtime or shifts.
  • Deadlines: Occasional stress from deadlines or workload, exposure to distressed individuals.
