Job description

Title: Material Handler II

Duration: 12 months

Location: Swiftwater, PA 18370

Shift: 2:30 - 11:00 Mon - Fri

Description:

1. Responsible for raw material and non-stock receipts, finished goods distribution, and the coordination of material movement between warehouse and production areas.
2. Ability to pick and prepare sales orders according to specific SOPs.
3. Physically receive and log materials, supplies, and equipment from other departments/business units, as well as small parcel and LTL carriers and couriers.
4. Ability to pick and prepare ITR and DRP orders according to SOPs.
5. Generate cycle count lists and perform counts.
6. May operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
7. Store, transfer, and distribute material according to specific material requirements.
8. Requires some of the requisite skills to perform the tasks of this position at this level.
9. Receives detailed instructions on all work, with activities closely supervised and reviewed upon completion.
10. The physical demands include the ability to lift 40 lbs/18kg and work in temperature-controlled environments.
11. The work environment may include temperature-controlled rooms; accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.
