Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Munhall, PA seeks a Material Handler I to ensure production lines receive the correct materials on time as they build rail vehicles that keep people moving. You’ll move, inspect, stock, and deliver parts, using forklifts and ERP systems to support inventory accuracy and cross-functional teams.

This hands-on role requires OSHA awareness, strong organization, and teamwork; a $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, shipping/receiving, inventory, or material handling.
Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Forklift experience is a plus.
Familiarity with inventory systems such as SAP, MRP, or ERP.

Responsibilities

Keep production moving by picking, kitting, staging, and delivering materials to the right teams.
Own the receiving process by inspecting, labeling, stocking, and organizing incoming materials.
Operate material-handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Support cycle counts, SAP transactions, shipments, and inventory accuracy.
Collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve shortages and keep operations running smoothly.
