Job summary

McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to support receiving, stocking, delivering, and shipping materials to production lines at our Iowa facility.

The role involves operating material handling equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and coordinating with production teams. The position requires basic math, ability to read codes and tickets, and experience with Windows/Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to read date codes, BOLs, and pallet tickets.
• Experience with MS Windows, Word, and Excel.
• Six months+ material handling in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with JD Edwards Enterprise One or another ERP.
• Shipping and receiving experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience operating forklifts and cranes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock, and ship materials to production lines.
• Operate material handling equipment and tools.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and counts.
• Record location/quantity with handheld scanner/computer terminal.
• Work outdoors for extended periods when required.
• Mentor and train new team members on processes.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment following 6S standards.
