Job summary

McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing, Inc. in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Material Handler to support receiving, stocking, delivery, and shipping of parts. You will safely operate material handling equipment and verify parts/quantities in the JDE ERP system.

The role emphasizes safety, 6S standards, and teamwork. Candidates should lift up to 35 pounds, obtain forklift certification, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience or High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to become forklift certified to operate a forklift/tugger to receive and deliver parts safely and efficiently.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently locate and pull materials/supplies as listed on production/sales orders and stock production areas to maintain inventory levels.
• Operate material handling equipment (stand-up, sit-down, combi, lancer, tugger) safely.
• Maintain safe and clean work area following 6S standards and safety procedures.
• Verify parts and quantities and complete BOLs to receive or ship materials.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and update the JDE system.
• Rectify inventory discrepancies and monitor KANBAN cards; work with ERP/JDE systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal customers to ensure timely service.
