Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation---McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to support receiving, stocking, and shipping materials in our Iowa facility.

The role involves operating material handling equipment, ensuring accurate inventory, and delivering parts to production lines. The position requires basic math, ability to read codes and documents, and familiarity with MS Windows, Excel, and ERP systems like JD Edwards.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math (addition and subtraction).
• Ability to read and understand date codes, BOLs, pallet tickets, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform the material movement/handling to support stock replenishment in your area.
• Pick parts and materials and deliver to point of use.
• Unload/load trucks using material handling equipment.
• Receive material into the system and complete inventory counts.
• Inspect material on receipt for conformity and damage.
• Store stock in assigned locations and record location/quantity.
• May work outside for extended periods.
• Mentor and train new team members on processes and layout.
• Maintain 6S standards and a safe, clean work environment.
• Attend work regularly and perform other assigned duties.
