Job summary

Toppan Photomasks Round Rock is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Associate to perform a range of duties from receiving and inspecting shipments to preparing records for outbound deliveries.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory in the Oracle system, prioritizing shipments to meet customer needs, and adhering to clean room practices and ISO 9000 standards where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year shipping/receiving/inventory control experience within a semiconductor/manufacturing environment or as a production operator.
• Working knowledge of clean room practices and operations.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9000 standards preferred.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Shipments: prepare, pack, and schedule deliveries based on customer needs.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments; document discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory records and perform Oracle inventory movements.
• Pull and deliver materials; maintain stock in lab storage areas.
• Lifts heavy items up to 50 pounds.

Job description

Purpose:

Responsible for performing one or more of the following tasks involved in the shipping and/or distributing of parts, supplies, and small equipment or receiving and inspecting all incoming shipments and distributions to appropriate personnel.

Prepares records and maintains documentation of materials to be shipped. Prepares products for final shipment, determines "readiness" status and prioritizes shipping and delivery schedules based on customer needs, including determining delivery alternatives. Recognizes and communicates to customer service personnel potential problems that would delay shipments to customers.

Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders/invoices, maintains records, and completes proper documentation of receiving goods, and rejects unsatisfactory items when necessary. Performs Oracle inventory movements. Pulls and delivers materials requested by the lab. Works with Supply Chain Representatives to maintain proper inventory levels. Maintains stock and inventory levels in burn room / chemical storage rooms. Lifts heavy items up to 50 pounds.

Knowledge / Experience:

• Minimum of one year shipping/receiving/inventory control experience within a semiconductor/manufacturing environment or as a production operator
• Working knowledge of clean room practices and operations
• Working knowledge of ISO 9000 standards preferred
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
